An FIE make vertical balancing machine upgraded with Precibalance Instrumentation. The machine was modified to incorporate a rotary encoder in addition to the force sensors and new instrumentation. The addition of the rotary encoder reduces the error from the heavy angle disc and provides an on screen remote angle protractor function. In conjunction with the place weights program, the operator can easily determine the locations for correction without computation or guess work.
