A vertical balancing machine for balancing of flywheels with automatic positioning of unbalance and integrated drill correction station. Once the operator starts the measurement, the unbalance is measured and the correction location on the rotor is automatically brought to the drill head location. The remote angle protractor function integrated with the machine enables the operator to simple and easily know and track the unbalance position on the rotor. The accurate measurement and easy location of the unbalance enables improved productivity and quality of balancing of the rotors.
The video shows a counter balance flywheel being balanced on a vertical balancing machine. Once the measurement starts, the flywheel rotor’s unbalance is measured and unbalance location positioned automatically to the drill head. The integrated drill station is used to make the unbalance correction on the rotor. The rotor unbalance is measured again to ensure it is within tolerance.
A video showing a flywheel with ring gear being balanced on a vertical balancing machine. The rotor unbalance is measured and unbalance automatically positioned below drill head for correction.
