A Schenck Soft Bearing Outer rotor fan balancing machine upgraded with Precibalance electronics. The machine is retained as a soft bearing machine through the use of accelerometer sensors. Modern powerful PCs along with Precibalance software enables permanent storage and retrieval of calibration parameters, enabling a soft bearing machine to act as a permanently calibrated machine. The decoupled operation of the Precibalance electronics enables use of the old electricals as well as placement of new sensors without disturbing the old sensors.
